The lesswire Industrial BlueXS-A can operate in different modes. The Industrial BlueXS-A is an Ethernet-Bridge: two BlueXS-A’s can be connected as autarky operating Ethernet-Devices. A fast gateway for different field busses e.g. PROFINET can be realized in this case. PROFINET- packets get the highest priority - the real-time- communication (RT) mode with cycle times in range of 10 ms is possible.
On the other hand the BlueXS-A is a powerful Bluetooth® LAN Access Point with Bluetooth 2.0 EDR standard. It provides fast and convenient LAN access.

The lesswire Industrial BlueXS-A supports with PROFINET a well known standard. It fulfills all requirements for industrial automation Ethernet usage: beginning on the controller level, up to standard automation in I/O systems.
