25.05.2011lesswire on the growth curve

Wireless solutions vendor for the automotive industry moves into new offices in Berlin Adlershof and presents new distribution partners

Berlin, 25 May 2011 – lesswire AG, leading provider of products and solutions for wireless data transmission and information utilization on mobile devices, has moved into new business premises at Rudower Chaussee in Berlin. Moving into new offices reflects the company’s growth within the recent past and allows lesswire to further expand their team at the German headquarters. At the same time, lesswire welcomes PITSTAR BV and ENO telecom GmbH to their distribution network for the Wi2U Car Hotspot.

While ENO telecom, a leading distributor in the IT and communications sector, will focus on the German retail market, PITSTAR, distributor of new multimedia technologies and products for mobile use, will strengthen lesswire’s distribution channel in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg. Both partnerships will concentrate on the Wi2U Car Hotspot, an easy to install solution for Internet access in the vehicle.

The Wi2U Car Hotspot was especially designed for in-car use allowing up to eight users to simultaneously access the Internet via UMTS connection while on the go – no matter if it is updating your status in a social network, using Skype, enjoying your favorite online radio station, playing online games or checking emails. The built-in GPS unit allows the use of location based services as well as positioning the car. The Wi2U Car Hotspot sends a message to the device’s owner once it is started (by turning the ignition). The compact unit is characterized by its robustness and high build quality. An external antenna guarantees good connection also during high speed, while it reduces the electromagnetic radiation inside the car. The Wi2U Car Hotspot allows a download speed of 7.2 Mbps as well as an upload rate of 5.76 Mbps.

”Using the Internet while in the car is an increasingly interesting topic and we see a growing demand for solutions enabling this. We are extremely happy that with PITSTAR and ENO telecom we have found two new strong partners for our Wi2U Car Hotspot distribution network,” says Andreas Beierer, Director Sales at lesswire. “We look back on very successful months and years in which our team has grown constantly. We are still on a growth curve and can offer our current staff as well as our future employees in our new offices a creative and productive environment that represents an innovative company.”
