The Wi2U is easily installed in a suitable location, for example in the glove department or the boot of the car. The external antenna is glued to the inside of the windscreen, and connected to the Wi2U. The device can draw its power supply from the cigarette lighter or directly from the vehicle's power system. Installation is easy with the installation kit included in the package.

Generally, yes. The socket adapter allows you to use the Wi2U at home or in a hotel - all you need is a regular wall socket.

The development of the Wi2U focused specifically on low-radiation operation. The external UMTS antenna reduces mobile RF to a minimum, and at the same time improves connection quality.

We are continuously maintaining and enhancing our firmware, which means that updates will be made available periodically. With the relevant setting in the menu item Update found in the administrator interface, you can receive firmware updates automatically via the internet.

Wi2U supports the secure encryption method WPA2. It is therefore almost impossible that anyone could decrypt and read your data traffic.

All web-based services are supported, which means that browser-based as well as native online games can be played. Even better: You can even organise little LAN parties 'on the go'.

Yes, you can generally use any WLAN-enabled device for VoIP calls, like Skype. The only limitation is that T-Mobile does not support Skype on its iPhone. That is however not a problem with any other service provider or device.

Field staff and business travelers can generally access their company network via Wi2U, synchronise emails, make VoIP calls, and use all relevant web-based applications.
