3G / UMTS Settings

In the 3G / UMTS Settings, enter your network provider's connection data for a wireless internet connection. You can enable or disable roaming - i.e. using the internet abroad. Lastly, these settings also allow you to reset the data meter.

WLAN Settings

The radio network can be configured in the router's WLAN settings menu. Apart from the network name, the so-called SSID, these include encryption and your password. The Wi2U supports secure WPA2 encryption for protected operation.

System and Theft Protection

The access password to the administrator interface can be changed in theSystem section of the settings menu. Most importantly, this is where you enable theft protection. This feature sends either an email or SMS notification with the date and the position of the vehicle based on GPS data. This will occur each time the device is activated or switched off.

Public hotspot

If you own a Wi2U public hotspot, you can edit the hotspot settings like on / off, name and password of the hotspot and choose your provider in the Public hotspot area.
