Various expansion packs are available for the Wi2U car hotspot, with which the flexibility of the WLAN to UMTS router can be increased. Performance can for instance be enhanced with a wall plug adapter, allowing the router to be used at home, in hotels or holiday homes as well.

12 V power adapter

The 12 V power adapter for the Wi2U router connects the device to a regular wall outlet. It can be plugged directly into the wall socket, and connected to the Wi2U device via the connector used for the cigarette lighter.

external GPS antenna

An external GPS antenna further improves the GPS connectivity of the Wi2U. Just like in the UTMS antenna, which is already included in the scope of delivery, it can be affixed to the windscreen and connected to the Wi2U router via cable.
